Newry Tennis Club alumni and colleague Thibaut Picard married his sweetheart Marion on 30 June 2018. He said "..was simply the best day of my life as I married the one and only, Marion, my love and now officially my wife. Such an emotional moment, with as many as 8 Newry reps specially sent from the Emerald Ireland just for Marion and I... Amazing! Thanks a million for making this day such a great and joyful moment, I will never forget it." Our very own Marty Keenan and his partner Mary were present at the ceremonies which were held in the picturesque Domaine de Champigny which is situated in Crisenoy, a town near Melun in Southern Paris. Newry Tennis Club presented Thibaut with a hand crafted wooden clock of Ireland. He said Once again, lads, thank you very much for the Ireland clock! This is such a nice present, full of symbols, that reminds me of my year in Co. Down, back in 2013/14 in Newry!"
