One of the most popular and certainly active members of Newry Tennis Club, Gary Hanratty celebrated his 30th birthday in style on Saturday night. His parents and family had led on a terrific spread of sandwiches, pasta, various meat dishes, snacks and a glorious cake. Gary invited loads of club members and he was graced by the presence of Peggy, Marie, Cormac, Matthew, Alex, Malachy Senior, Shane and Russell. A great time was had by all as Gary gave a wee speech as he blew out the candles on his cake. Each person named their favourite doubles partner to much merriment. Milo, the beautiful chocolate labrador made an appearance too. Thanks to Gary's mum, dad and 2 brothers for their hospitality and lovely food. Happy 30th Gary Hanratty.
